HENNO MARTIN AWARD
As from 1999 the Geological Society of Namibia started awarding the Henno Martin Medal to an earth scientist or group of earth scientists who/that has made a significant contribution to improving the understanding of the geology of Namibia. Nominations are invited every year. Candidates do not need to be members of the Geological Society of Namibia.
AWARD FOR STUDENT OF THE YEAR
The Award for Student of the year, recognizes and celebrates exceptional students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, awarded for the best Earth Science final year student as nominated by the Earth Science University department to motivate students to achieve their best.
